The Universe Starts Over Again Tomorrow: Dodgers drop Game #2 to the Giants. 160 to go.

The Universe starts over. The Los Angeles Dodgers open their season with a weekend against the San Francisco Giants, and the 2018 baseball season begins.

The Dodgers ‘s Alex Wood (0-0) will face the Giants Johnny Cueto (0-0) in an early battle of the undefeated.

The Boys in Blue lost their first opening Day game in seven years Thursday as Joe Panik (no relation) hit a one-run homer that was all the Giants needed for the victory. The loss was also the first loss for Dodger Ace Clayton Kershaw, who performed well in Spring training.

That was then. This is SO now…

FIRST INNING:

Alex Woods’ first pitch is a strike. His second pitch sends a popup to center. One down.DSC_7367
